"You can't make footprints in the sands of time if you're sitting on your butt. And who wants to make buttprints in the sands of time?" Bob Moawad
Last week in Bible we talked about walking like Noah from the Bible and how he stood alone in the midst of ridicule and built that giant ark. Wow, I think to myself could I have done that? I have my doubts but to make a lasting impact on the future we have to get up off our butts and take a risk. Stand out and sometimes alone in a crowd. If you are headed in the direction that God has told you to go eventually you'll have followers to get on your ark. So get out there this week and make a difference in your corner of the world it all starts with just one Noah doing the right thing. Now this quote was in a book that I read to a group of preschoolers and kindergarteners Just Kids by Bonnie Louise Kuchler. It has pictures and information about all kinds of animals and an inspirational quote or funny saying with each one. The kids made sure to correct the quote and insert bottom for butt. Somehow it didn't pack quite the same punch.
